Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I view the status of my order? A: Go to the Contact Us page. There, you can search for the status of your order with the confirmation number.
Q: What are your shipping costs? A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.
Q: Is ordering on this site secure? A: Absolutely. All Spire Music transactions are supported by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, also known as secure order protection, secure certificate or digital certificate. SSL is a protocol for securely encrypting and transmitting electronic information between web servers across the Internet, and is the most popular method for ensuring the secure transmission of credit card data and consumer information. Your will see a locked security icon on your browser when making payments, so you will know it is encrypted.
Q: When will my order ship? A: Most orders ship within 1-3 business days.
Q: How does Downloadable Sheet Music work? A: With Downloadable Sheet Music, you get the music you ordered immediately, rather than having to wait for it to arrive in the mail. You also have the benefit of being able to print as many copies as needed for your own personal use (see the next question). Once your order is complete, you will automatically receive an email with directions on downloading your files. You can also access your files for download in our My Account section. That is why you are required to sign up for an account in order to purchase sheet music. All Downloadable Sheet Music is in PDF format and you will need Adobe Reader to view and print it. You can download Adobe Reader for free online.
Q: What do you mean by "personal use"? If I need multiple copies of sheet music, say for my choir, do I need to order more than one copy? A: No. That's the beauty of Downloadable Sheet Music: once you buy it, you can print it as many times as you need to for your own personal use. We define "personal use" as any use where you retain control of all of the copies. So for example, if you're performing the piece with your choir: order one copy of the sheet music, print enough copies for the conductor, accompanist and members of the choir, perform the piece, then collect the music as you would any other sheet music you purchase. In other words, do not give copies to or share the digital file with others. Let them purchase their own. Thanks.
Q: Are there orchestra parts available for Spire Music works? A: We can make the orchestra parts available by special request for groups wishing to perform with instrumentalists. We also can provide orchestral minus tracks (without choir, singers or narration) as well. For information please contact us by email at sales@spiremusic.org.
Q: When I try to checkout, I get an error telling me that a product is only available to registered customers. What does this mean? A: Downloadable products (such as sheet music and scores) require that you have an account from which you can download the files, so they cannot be ordered through "Guest Checkout" or "PayPal Express". From the Checkout Options, select "Register" or, if you already have an account, select "Sign In". If you wish, can still choose to pay with PayPal at the Payment Method screen. Once you've finished your order, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file(s) from your online account.
